Macbeth is Cinematic

Through slow-moving, almost static images of landscapes, people, and battle, what emerges is one of the most breath-taking visual experiences on screen.

The cast is powerful. Incrementally, we fall deeper and deeper into Michael Fassbender’s portrayal, until he dominates the senses. Equally, Marion Cotillard is powerful and creates a world that is at once frightening and mesmerising.

With its grand scope, its awesome aesthetic, and its measured pace, the film is truly cinematic.
