Every moment of the first half of the film is designed to keep a muggle’s mouth open in amazement as he watches the stupefying special effects of this magical roller coaster ride about the foibles of fantastic beasts.
The most fantastic beasts of all, however, were Colin Farrell’s coif, coat, and crazy costume change.
